Hague Software Solutions are officially certified with Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme that ensures organisations are protected against the majority of the most common cyber-attacks.

As the use of computers, smartphones and the internet has become a fundamental part of day-to-day life, it has become a priority at Hague to ensure that our IT systems are protected against attacks, such as cyber theft and damage. This means that Hague customers can rest assured that we take the prevention of such attacks very seriously.

Neil Willby, the Software Development Director at Hague, shares why the Cyber Essentials certificate is so important;

‘As leading suppliers of innovative and world class software solutions we felt the time was right, in our constant strive for excellence, to adopt internal security procedures to reaffirm our commitment to our customers. Having Cyber Essentials not only protects our organisation against 80% of cyber-attacks, it demonstrates to our customers and supply chain that we have considered security controls and are working in a safe and secure environment.’

As well as our Cyber Essentials certificate, we have also adopted new policies and procedures to follow that will allow us to monitor and continuously improve our cyber security. Along with both of these, we have also created a Security Working Group (SWG), this group will have regular meetings to make sure Hague adhere to the standards that it has implemented for itself.
