Frank Nixon from Hague, Manchester, was approached by his customer, Cotswold RDA, to create their new in-car window stickers for the upcoming season at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Cotswold RDA is an independent charity affiliated with the National Riding for the Disabled Association. The charity was set up in 1965, and was visited by the president of the Association, HRH, The Princess Royal when it celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in 2015.

The charity provides riding sessions for people of all ages who live with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties. The sessions are supported every week by 160 selfless volunteers.

Located at Cheltenham racecourse, Cotswold RDA riding school caters for different disabilities and is equipped with: a wheelchair hoist, an outdoor menage, a sensory walk and stalls for the ponies. Their latest piece of apparatus, ‘Sedbury Shadow’, is a mechanical horse featuring specialised RDA programmes, enabling riders to enjoy a 4D experience, such as: cantering through the countryside, parks, towns or even on a beach via an interactive TV screen.

Cotswold RDA have also recently launched their new sensory experience, giving riders the opportunity to have a more ‘hands on’ approach with the ponies, whilst learning new skills, like how to groom the ponies, and how to care for them.

The in-car stickers that Hague are providing, are simply to allow the Cotswold RDA staff to gain access to Cheltenham Racecourse grounds when they need to.

Frank aligned Hague with the Cotswold RDA’s motto ‘life is about what you CAN do that counts,’ and offered these stickers to them for free, to help out such a worthy cause, and they are absolutely thrilled, and very thankful for Frank’s kind gesture.

Cotswold RDA is a charity committed to building a great future so that more young riders and adults can have access to their services – that will ensure a secure future for generations to come.
